LuLu's Dream

Serenity Milam, affectionately called 'LuLu' by friends and family, was surprised by a large group of volunteers from the Dream Factory of Dyersburg on Friday, July 11. The 7-year-old who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a 2012 motor vehicle accident received a brand new Minnie Mouse 'Bowtique' in her backyard in Gates. While LuLu enjoyed games of "Hi Ho Cherry-O" and "Disney Dominoes" inside the house with friends and physical therapists, a crew of volunteers completed the finishing touches on a new playhouse in her backyard. After family members led her outside for 'The Big Reveal,' LuLu enjoyed exploring the little house with her very first visitors.
