DSCC hosts Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services Day
Saturday, October 3, 2015
Dyersburg State Community College played host to a number of public service safety agencies Thursday. On campus, gathered around the LRC building, were local EMS/EMT members, police agencies, canine demonstrations, the Methamphetamine Task Force Trailer (educational), and a helicopter visit from the Medic Helicopter. Between classes, DSCC students wandered from one station to another, learning just how, why, when and what these agencies perform in their line of duties. The event coordinators were DSCC's Michael Brooks, assistant professor of criminal justice, and Roger McDivvett, program director Emergency Medical Services.
